According to SAMSHA, 60 – 80% of visits to primary care providers in the U.S. are related to stress – and about 20% of the population lives in rural communities. This presentation will Identify common stressors prevalent among agricultural producers, describe signs and symptoms of depression and anxiety and discuss short- and long-term impact of natural disasters in rural communities.
